Ramzan celebrated with gaiety in Sivakasi

Marking the end of the month-long Ramzan fasting, Muslims from all walks of life in Sivakasi Town gathered to celebrate Ramzan on 9th August 2013, Friday, after the sighting of the new moon. Wearing new clothes, the Muslim devotees gathered at mosques to offer prayers in the town. Special prayers mark Ramzan celebrations. After the prayers were over, Sivakasians greeted by embracing each other. Muslims shared Briyani to non muslim neighbours and friends, in Sivakasi.
