108th free eye camp was held at Sivakasi Chamber of Trade Promotion under the joint auspices of the Sankara Eye Hospital and Khaitan Steel Mart Sivakasi on 10th November 2013, Sunday. Various tests were conducted to detect vision deficiencies, cataract and so on. Nearly 240 people from the local area and surrounding areas participated in the camp. Of them, 149 patients were referred for free surgery to be conducted at Sanakara Eye Hospital. Besides conducting the tests, medicines were given free of cost to the needy patients during the camp.
