All set for Chithirai Pongal 2014

Chithirai Pongal decoration work is going on in full swing, at Sivakasi Arulmighu Sri Badrakaliamman Thirukovil, for last few days. The 11 days festival starts from 29th April 2014, Tuesday with Kodiyettram event, at the temple premises. Chithirai Pongal is going to be held on 6th May 2014, Tuesday and Kayiru Kuthu Festival is on 7th May 2014, Wednesday. The decorative works for Chithirai Pongal Utsav has been taken place, in Arulmighu Sri Badrakaliamman Thirukovil for last two days, in the temple campus and the way leading to the temple is getting a festive look. It is expected that the light decoration work will be completed by today night. Sivakasi Badrakaliamman Temple is attracting a steady stream of visitors who flock to the premises in the evenings to enjoy the festive buzz of Chithirai Pongal.
