Eye Donation Awareness Camp at AAACET

The LIONS CLUB OF SIVAKASI with NSS and YRC of AAA College of Engineering & Technology organized 725th Eye Donation Awareness Camp on August 11th 2014, Monday, at College A/C Seminar Hall. Lion Dr.J.Ganesh MJF, District Chairperson for Eye Donation, the guest speaker of the session was felicitated by Er.K.Vignesh Kumar B.E., M.B.A.(UK), Joint Secretary. The 600 students of AAA actively participated in the camp. The session was so interactive and the students enthusiastically participated in the questionnaire. The active participants were rewarded with gifts from the Lions Club and were distributed by Mrs. Grahalakshmi Karvannan, Member Panjurajan Amaravathy Trust. The chief guest’s inspiring speech about importance of donating eyes helped the students to understand the needs and benefits of eye donation. He clearly explained how one could equip oneself to donate his eyes. The students registered their feedback and their impact would surely impact the society.
Chairman Shri.P.Panjurajan, Secretary Dr.P.Karvannan, Correspondent Dr.P.Ganesan, Joint Secretary Er.K.Vignesh Kumar B.E.,MBA (UK), Principal Dr.K.Arulmozhi and the AAA Family members have organized the camp with a motive of creating awareness about the importance of Eye Donation to the students.
