Free eye camp organised

Sivakasi Khaitan Steel Mart and Sankara Eye Hospital on 14th December 2014, Sunday conducted free eye screening camp. According to a release from the organisers, they conducted the free camp for 121st time at the Sivakasi Chamber of Trade Promotion, between 09:00 a.m. and 02:00 p.m.. Doctor and staff from Sankara Eye Hospital screened participants at the camp. The organisers would send those identified by the doctors for surgery to the hospital, where they would be operated free of cost. Plus, the patients would also get free boarding and lodging and lens. Those in need of spectacles would also get one. Next camp will be held on 11th January 2015.
