Thousands witnessed Thaipusam Theppa Thiruvizha

On the occasion of Thaipoosam Festival 2015, Theppa Thiruvizha was held today at Sri Arulmighu Badrakaliamman Thirukovil. Thousands of devotees witnessed the Theppa Thiruvizha. Lord Subramaniaswami and his consort Valli Theivanai, deities from the Sri SivaSubramaniaswami temple, were brought in a procession from the temple to the tank of Badrakaliamman Kovil. The float was pulled around with the use of ropes. The brightly decorated float drew large crowds in the evening.The temple wore festive look. Every year Thaipusam Theppa THiruvizha held at Chemtty Theppam, this year for the first time it took place in Badrakaliamman Temple and pulls huge crowd.
