The lights were turned off in Mariamman Temple

Due to lunar eclipse, the decorated lights in mariamman temple for panguni pongal festival has been turned off. And the temple lost the festival look. At 08:00 p.m. the temple was opened and all the lights were switched on and devotees thronged the temple and offered special prayers.
