Sivakasi receives moderate rain

With temperature pegged below 27 degree Celsius, chill breeze, mild showers cool climate and black clouds and the climate has been slowly changing up Sivakasi Climate. Last week the maximum average temperature is around 34 degree celsius, now the temperature fell down to 27 degree Celsius and minimum weather is 23 degree celsius. Today, Sivakasi received moderate rain between 11:50 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.. Following the sharp showers, it was drizzling occasionally. Sivakasi receives steady rain without strong winds, thunders and lightnings. Within minutes of a steady rain accompanied by strong wind the town was seen flooded and clogged. Rainy onslaughts leave several roads damaged, in Sivakasi. Several low-lying areas in the town were inundated after the incessant heavy rain. The downpour brought cheers for Sivakasians. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Rain brings smile in the face of Sivakasians. More rain likely to continue for the next two days with maximum and minimum temperature of 31 and 23 degree celsius.
