North East Monsoon dampens business in Sivakasi

North East Monsoon rain lashed several parts of the town for the second consecutive day, in Sivakasi, today. With just two weeks left for the Festival of Lights, fireworks manufacturers were busy preparing and packing crackers in over 700 units. The recent rains delays loading and unloading works in trucks. The recent monsoon rains causing inconvenience to the fireworks manufacturers, traders and transporters. Sivakasi likely to get more rains for the next 10 days, with maximum and minimum temperature of 28 and 22 degree celsius.
