ALUMNI MEET at SKC

The 11th Annual Alumni Meet 2015 was celebrated at Sri Kaliswari College, Sivakasi, on September 24. A.P. Selvarajan, college secretary, who presided over the event, appealed to the alumni to become entrepreneurs and providers of jobs to others. He cited the examples of leading entrepreneurs who had humble beginnings. P. Venkatesh Kumar, secretary of Alumni Association, presented the annual report. Competitions, Teachers’ Day celebration and guest lectures formed the highlights of the meet. S. Krishnamurthy, Principal, in his address, said the alumni were duty-bound to support the college. P.K. Balamurugan, Vice-Principal, illustrated cases of entrepreneurs with minimum investments serving the society in big ways. R. Muthulakshmi, Vice-Principal, said that a database could be created to keep regular touch with the alumni. K. Siva, Alumni Association member and Assistant Professor, Department of Bio-Technology, welcomed the gathering. V. Subashree, Alumni and Assistant Professor, Department of HMCS, proposed a vote of thanks.
