Hundreds witnessed Panguni Pongal Theppa Thiruvizha

As a part of Panguni Pongal Festival 2017, Thepporsavam held, at Sri Arulmighu Mariamman Thirukovil, for the first time, on 16th April 2017, Sunday. Hundreds of devotees witnessed the Theppa Thiruvizha. The float was pulled around with the use of ropes. The brightly decorated float drew large crowds in the evening. Special pujas were performed for Goddess Mariamman. Ground floor was opened for visitors, on the other days, visitors are allowed to visit only the top floor of the teppakulam. The From this year, theppa thiruvizha will be held for panguni pongal, every year.
