Sivakasi Mariamman Temple wore festive look, as thousands of colorful lights set the temple aglow. There are serial lit to mark the 2017 Chithirai Pongal Festival in Sivakasi. The temple will dazzlingly light up every night until May second week and has become a much-awaited Moondraam Thiruvizhaa, Aindhaam Thiruvizhaa and Aaaraam Thiruvizhaa, Chithirai Pongal and Kayirukuthu event for Sivakasians and visitors alike.
