2011 Surasamharam in Sivakasi

Surasamharam was held in Sivakasi, yesterday. There were two Surasamharams held. One was from Sivakasi Sivan Kovil and another one from Sivakasi Subramaniam Kovil. First Sivan Kovil Surasamharam was held. After a gap of half an hour Murugan Kovil Surasamharam held. Lot of Murugan devotees participated in that function. Some Sivakasians showed Suran to their kids. The Kids eagerly asked the story from their parents. Finally Lord Murugan destructed Suran The Titan. After Surasamharam, Suran was fired in front of Murugan Temple. The used Vel weapon for Surasamharam, was cleaned with loads of milks. Today Thirukalayam was taken place in Murugan Temple.
