Sivakasi records 3 cm rainfall

On 7th February 2018, Wednesday night Sivakasi receives heavy rainfall for around one hour. Sivakasi receives 3cm rainfall on 7th February. This is the highest rainfall in Sivakasi, this year. Within minutes of a steady rain the town was seen flooded and clogged. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Sivakasians were surprised by the sudden downpour. For the next one week sky will be partly cloudy with maximum and minimum temperature of 35 and 23 degree celsius respectively, with slim possibilities for rain.
