Christmas Celebration in Sivakasi

Christmas was celebrated in Sivakasi, on 25th December 2011. Christians wear new dresses and have gone for prayer in Church. Churches in Sivakasi were decorated with attractive lights, stars and wreath. Sivakasi Chrisitans celebrated by distributing cakes and sweets to Non Christian neighbours, friends and families. Every Christian house and some Non Christian house have a Christmas stars hanging outside for the entire season and a Christmas wreath on the front door. Balloon shops, snacks shops and doll shops were placed near the Churches of Sivakasi. Several Sivakasi hotels were decorated with stars, Christmas trees and wreath. Jesus dolls were placed and exhibited.
