Eye Camp in Sivakasi

Khaitan Steel Mart in association with Sankara Eye Hospital, organised a visual screening and treatment camp, in Sivakasi Chamber of Trade Promotion, on 18th November 2012, Sunday. A team of seven Medical experts was led by an Ophthalmologist and they examined the patients at the camp. Total of 191 people were examined by the doctors out of whom 77 were identified for free surgery to be performed at Sankara Eye Hospital. The 96th free eye camp was supported by 8 volunteers from Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College. Spectacles were provided for free of cost. Lunch was arranged for all the beneficiaries. Next camp will be held on 9th December 2012, Sunday.
