Eye Camp in Sivakasi

Sankara Eye Hospital in association with Mr.Pawan Khaitan organised 97th Eye camp, on 9th December 2012, Sunday, an eye screening and cataract surgery camp held here at the Sivakasi Chamber of Trade Promotion. 263 patients screened under various refractive errors and other diseases by a team of ophthalmologists from Sankara Eye Hospital. Of them, 126 patients were referred for free surgery to be conducted at Sanakara Eye Hospital and all the 126 patients were given free spectacles. The free services will include eye check up and refraction for glasses, medicines, eye surgery and glasses at discount rate. As a part of the camp food were distributed for all the beneficiaries. A team of 6 volunteers from Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College participated in the camp. Next camp will be held on 20th January 2012, Sunday.
