Road Safety Week begins in Sivakasi

With road safety week being observed from January 1-1-2013 to 7-1-2013, the Regional Transport Office, Sivakasi, has planned a week long celebrations in Sivkasi Town to sensitise the public about the importance of following traffic rules. Banners has been placed at key junctions of Sivakasi town to sensitise the public about the importance of helmets while travelling, only two should travel in a bike and to avoid using mobile phones while driving. The risks involved in drinking and driving were highlighted in the flex banners.
