Sivakasi is Powerless

Sivakasi continued to reel under long hours of power cuts for the last two months and the situation is likely to remain so in the coming days. Today, power cuts in Sivakasi have lasted for nearly 10 hours, at day time. Small and Mid sized business people are unable to withstand the erratic and unscheduled cut in supply of power. Majority of the small and mid sized business unit promoters in Sivakasi said that they were unable to keep their delivery commitments and were apprehensive of taking new calendars, diaries printing orders. Sivakasians had no clue when supply would be cut off or restored. If the situation continues, Power Cut Giant will swallow Sivakasi within a month.
