Kadai Kovil Amman Idol procession

Kadai Kovil Amman Idol procession taken place on 15th November 2013, Friday, from Kadai Kovil to KSSP Kalayana Madapam. The idol was placed in the mandapam at morning. Special rituals were held at the temple in the morning in connection with the amman procession, by the street people. And the amman idol was return back to Kadai Kovil at night. Devotees stood near their home and worshiped the amman and offered special prayers. Fire displays were made by the therukettu people. Hundreds of devotees witnessed the procession. This procession to Solai Colony takes place every year on Aipasi Maathaandha vellikilammai.
