Sports Day Celebrated at ANJAC

The 51st Sports Day of ANJAC was held on 7th February 2014, Friday. Thiru.G.E.Shridharan, Arjuna, Dhronacharya, Mamallan awardee and the achiever of Best Sport Man award, the present State Volley Ball coach was the chief guest. In the morning session a press meet was arranged with the chief guest. In the afternoon Thiru.R.Janaki Ramanan, Member of the Management Committee and Industrialist declared open the sports meet. Dr.S.Baskaran, Principal welcomed the gathering. Tmt.J.Gomathi Ramanan, distributed prizes fro the winners. The chief guest delivered his sports meet address. He advised the students to concentrate in education and sports equally. He insisted the students to involve in physical activities daily to lead a hale and healthy life. He appreciated the participants for their livelier involvement in the sports activities held during the meet. Mr.ANJAC competition was held. Tug of war was held between students and staff members. Many competitions were conducted for the physically challenged students. Guest events were also conducted. Dr.Paul Jeeva Singh presented the annual sports report for the year 2013-2014.
