East Car Street is now two way

Sivakasi Traffic Police re-imposed the one way rule at East Car Street, from January 2014. Sivakasi Traffic Police installed barricades near Sivakasi Agni Vinayakar Temple Junction and awareness on the new traffic regulation would be created among the traders and general public from February 2014. Infrequent visitors to Sivakasi Bazar were confused on imposing of the new rule. The normally busy East Car Street wore deserted look. Shop owners and general public asked to reconsider the newly imposed one-way rule. And from April 2014 the rule was reconsidered and Sivakasi Traffic Police removed the barricades and now East Car Street is two way and the Street getting busy again.
