Announcement from Sivakasi Municipality

Dr.V.K.Kathiravan, Chairman, Sivakasi Municipality, has appealed to the Sivakasi people to create rainwater harvesting structures in their houses. Rain Water Harvesting Structure in houses and office premises would be made compulsory from 30th June, 2014, Monday. Sivakasi Municipality will take necessary actions to those who violating the mandatory / compulsory installation of Rain Water Harvesting Systems in their premises. To create awareness on Rain Water Harvesting System, rallies were taken out by Sivakasi school students for last one month.
