Innovative Education in SIS

For the first time in Virudhunagar district, Sidharajaa International School (CBSE) is conducting an Innovative practice on Friday in every week as an “ACTIVITY DAY”.

The students of various programmes from PRE K.G to Grade II are involved in the ACTIVITY DAY. The activities like water Games, Sand Games and Art works are educated to impart students along with the CBSE curriculum.

As Ms.U.SAKTHI Veeralakshmi, the principal, stated that, “our SIS motto of curriculum is to make aware of knowledge in science experiments (Physics and Chemistry) and application of that knowledge in their real life”.

In the Afternoon session, there will be a movie time, to enhance the communication skills among students. The science experiments which have been conducted so far are listed below for your kind information.

List of Activities:
Activity 1: Sink or Float
Activity 2: Will it dissolve in water?
Activity 3: Will it absorb or repel water?
Activity 4: What happens when different objects soak in water?

Experiment 1: Diffusion Experiment
Experiment 2: Water Walking
Experiment 3: Awareness on water pollution
Experiment 4: Apple Float, Egg Float
Experiment 5: Orange sink

Mr.P.C.Sudharsanan, Executive Director of SIS pointed that, their school will be more focused on Innovative kind of education for enriching the student knowledge to meet out the global market. Vijayadhasami Admission for the programmes Nursery, PRE KG and LKG will be in the process, he added.
