Theppa Thiruvizha held at Sivakasi Badrakaliamman Kovil

On 20th May 2016, Friday, as a part of Chithirai Pongal Festival 2016, Sivakasi Hindu Nadar Uravinmurai organised float festival, for the second year, at Sivakasi Pathirakaliamman Kovil, Teppakulam. Thousands of devotees thronged the Sri Badrakaliamman Temple tank for the float festival. The temple was decorated with colourful lights. The presiding deity of the temple, Goddess Badrakali Amman was taken on the grand float, decorated with flowers and colourful appendages. Devotional light music was arranged.
