Hundreds witnessed Thaipusam Theppa Thiruvizha

On the occasion of Thaipoosam Festival 2018, Theppa Thiruvizha was held on 1st February 2018, Thursday, at Sri Arulmighu Mariamman Thirukovil, for the second year. Hundreds of devotees witnessed the Theppa Thiruvizha. Lord Subramaniaswami and his consort Valli Theivanai, deities from the Sri SivaSubramaniaswami temple, were brought in a procession from the temple to the tank of Badrakaliamman Kovil. The float was pulled around with the use of ropes. The brightly decorated float drew large crowds in the evening.The temple wore festive look.
