Rain lashes Sivakasi for four consecutive days

Every year Sivakasi gets rainfall during Chithirai Pongal and Kayar kuthu festival days. But this year during Panguni Pongal Sivakasi Corporation received rain for four consecutive days. There was rainfall on 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th April 2022. There was incessant rainfall on 11th April 2022, Monday, (kayarkuthu festival) from evening. However devotees thronged Mariamman Temple and offered their prayers.
