About the E-Pledge
All living things including plants, animals and human beings need water to live and to carry out different cellular activities. Rainwater harvesting helps utilities reduce peak demands during summer months, saving treated water for more important and appropriate water uses. While rainwater can be a perfect primary water source for many uses and situations, it is also a great backup water supply for emergency situations. Recently, Ministry of Jal Shakti has launched the Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain campaign 2022 for the period 29 March, 2022 to 30 November, 2022.
