Diwali celebrated with rain

Sivakasians celebrate Diwali with rainfall. Amidst rain Sivakasians fire crackers throughout the day on the special festival of lights. In Sivakasi people decorate their houses with kolam designs. After the oil bath, new clothes are worn and firecrackers are burst. Sivakasi Corporation sanitary workers cleaned all the Diwali garbage in the roads, on the very next day of Diwali and kept the road clean.
