Rain lashes Sivakasi

On 3rd December 2023, Sunday, Sivakasi town receives Super Rain, for around 90 minutes at evening. Heavy rainfall occurred in the town. Rain water harvesting systems, installed in buildings, received copious amount of water. Record rains cause heavy flooding in Sivakasi town. The drains were overflowed and the roads remained flooded for some hours. The heavy showers in Sivakasi town brought the highest inflow of the season to both the Sirukulam and Periyakulam Kanmai. The heavy downpour was a bit of surprise for Sivakasians.
