Incessant rain in Sivakasi

On 20th November 2024, Wednesday, Sivakasi has received non stop rain since early hours of early morning. There was Incessant North East Monsoon rain between 02:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Rain that started around early morning peaked around 7.30am. As there was no holiday announced for the schools by the District Administration, students drenched and reached the school lately. Due to non stop rain students and parents expected holiday announcement till 08:30 a.m... All were disappointed and reached the school lately. Very few schools in Sivakasi announced holiday. Vinayakar School, Hayagrivas School, RSR School declared holiday. For the next one week sky will be cloudy with average maximum and minimum temperature of 30 and 24 degree celsius respectively, with chances for rain.
