Eye Camp in Sivakasi

Khaitan Steel Mart in association with Sankara Eye Hospital successfully organised 93rd Eye camp, on 12th August 2012, Sunday, in Sivakasi Chamber of Trade Promotion. 167 patients were screened under various eye tests by a 8 member team from Sankara Eye Hospital. Of them, 87 patients were referred for free surgery to be conducted at Sanakara Eye Hospital. The free services will include eye check up and refraction for glasses, medicines, eye surgery and glasses at discount rate. As a part of the camp food and glass were distributed for those who were selected for the operation. A team of 5 volunteers actively participated in the camp. Next camp will be held on 9th September 2012, Sunday.
