District level competition on Swami Vivekananda

A District level competition on Swami Vivekananda was held in Sivakasi Vinayagar Matriculation Higher Secondary School, on 11th November 2012, Sunday. The competitions such as quiz, essay and elocution competitions on Swami Vivekananda was conducted by Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari. 200 students from 15 schools of various regions of Virudhunagar District participated in the competitions. 75 parents and teachers also attended the meeting held for them, in the school premise. Giving opportunity to the best awarded students in each event, will be selected to the next stage of State Level competitions to be held in Kanyakumari. In the day long State Level competitions all the top three participants in each event will be awarded with a trophy, a good quality Swamiji-s acrylic portrait and books.
